Dr. Tiffany & Dr. Mike Kriz
Choosing a physical therapy provider is about more than finding someone with the right qualifications. It’s about finding a team you trust to guide you toward better movement, improved health, and the ability to continue doing the things you love.
That’s the philosophy that has shaped Kriz Physical Therapy from the very beginning.
Dr. Tiffany Kriz and Dr. Mike Kriz are passionate about helping active adults move better, recover from injury,
and maintain their independence. Together, they have spent decades helping people overcome pain, restore confidence, and return to the activities that give their lives meaning.
Although their journeys began in different parts of the country, they both found their calling in physical therapy while attending school in Pennsylvania, where they first met. Mike’s path to physical therapy was anything but traditional. Before entering healthcare, he worked in the technology industry in Northern Virginia. While successful, he realized that solving business problems wasn’t nearly as rewarding as helping people improve their lives. After spending time in the physical therapy field, he discovered a passion for anatomy, movement, and helping others regain their function, ultimately leading him to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
For Tiffany, the decision was deeply personal. She believes movement changes lives. When people lose the ability to move comfortably, they often lose more than physical function. Confidence, independence, and even hope can begin to fade. Helping people regain those qualities is what continues to inspire her every day.
Today, Mike and Tiffany proudly call Southwest Florida home, where they have lived for more than two decades. They chose to build their practice in a community filled with active adults who value staying healthy and independent. Whether it’s golfing, playing pickleball or tennis, walking on the beach, traveling, or keeping up with grandchildren, they understand how important movement is to enjoying everything Southwest Florida has to offer.
Family has always been at the center of their lives. Together with their two children, Ryan and Madeline, they understand firsthand the importance of staying healthy enough to enjoy life’s biggest moments. That perspective influences every patient interaction and reminds them why helping people remain active and independent matters so much.
When they’re not caring for patients, you’ll often find them living the lifestyle they encourage others to pursue. They enjoy golf, strength training, walking, traveling, exploring national parks, spending time outdoors, discovering local restaurants, and sharing time with friends and family.
Over the years, Tiffany and Mike recognized that traditional healthcare often focuses on treating problems after they occur rather than helping people prevent them in the first place. That realization inspired them to build a practice centered not only on recovery but also on helping people maintain strength, mobility, and independence before injuries, pain, or surgery become necessary.
Their approach is especially focused on helping adults over 60 continue enjoying the activities they love, whether that’s traveling, gardening, hiking, golfing, playing pickleball, spending time with grandchildren, or simply living independently.
At Kriz Physical Therapy, the goal extends far beyond helping someone feel better today. Tiffany and Mike are committed to helping every patient build the strength, confidence, and resilience needed to remain active for years to come.
Because staying active isn’t just about movement. It’s about protecting the lifestyle you love.
